This course will help you to inspire children to enjoy fitness and physical activity by learning to plan and deliver safe, fun and motivational exercise programmes.

  • Gain an understanding of anatomy and physiology, highlighting the physiological changes that occur during a child’s development.
  • Learn how to prepare and deliver tailored physical activity sessions for children.
  • The specific anatomy, physiology and nutritional needs of adolescents and how they relate to physical activities, exercise and fitness.
  • How to adapt physical activities and exercises for adolescents.
  • How to plan, deliver and supervise safe and effective physical activity sessions to adolescents.
  • The legal and professional requirements for working with adolescents.

Pre-Requisite

Students require a Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing qualification or equivilant to attend this course.

I’ve just completed my Level 2 Gym Instructor Qualification and Indoor Cycling course via long distance learning, but met up with Sean regularly throughout the year.Cannot recommend Pegasus enough. I was keen to qualify as an indoor cycling instructor but I work a demanding day job, and also hate studying but the course was so easy to follow with lots of online video content that they’d added in, kept it engaging.Lewis delivered the Indoor Cycling two day course and was brilliant.Brilliant provider and no question was ever too much. Lost count the amount of emails and questions they’ve come back to me on.Cheers guys, appreciate it 🙏 might see you in future for some others courses!

The support & guidance I have had from Sean since starting in August has been second to none. Last year, I had a bad experience with my qualification through another company & I was reluctant to find another company to complete my qualification with. Completed both Level 2 Gym Instructing and Level 3 Personal Training with Pegasus and they were great! Sean and Lewis are both lovely and very helpful. If I ever need any other qualifications I would definitely come to them again :)

I would highly recommend Pegasus Training to anybody. I have just completed a level 3 Sports Massage Therapy course with them and they were great throughout.Sean and Lewis were both extremely knowledgeable and were always happy to go over things again if we needed to. They also offered a tremendous amount of flexibility throughout the course and were always happy to help.Probably the best course I have ever done and I can't recommend them enough.

I would highly recommend Pegasus Training to anyone who is interested in getting into the fitness industry. Everything about the experience from start to finish was top class. I genuinely don’t think I would have got the level of experience, practical support and confidence from anywhere else. As one of the more inexperienced of the group I went from initially feeling pretty out of my depth to having confidence in myself by the end of it. I did the combined L2 gym instructor course, Level 3 personal trainer and emergency first aid at work. The way the training is put together works great and Sean and Lewis work really well together to deliver it. I’m going to go back to do additional courses, as I wouldn’t go anywhere else having had the experience with Pegasus.

I have completed a few courses with Pegasus some in person and my PT level 3 was blended learning and would definitely recommend them to anyone starting out in fitness or completing further courses. I have recently completed my Level 3 Personal Training Qualification with Pegasus Training via their Blended Learning option and I cannot recommend or thank Pegasus enough.From the day I made my first enquiry, Sean was incredibly helpful. He understood when I explained that I would have to fit my studying in around my day job and family life and there was never any pressure from him, only encouragement. I have now completed my Level 2 Gym Instructor, Level 3 Personal Training, and Emergency First Aid at Work qualifications with Pegasus and I cannot recommend them enough. From the start the support has been amazing and the level of professionalism while still having a personal touch is like no other I have experienced on any other training course. Sean and Lewis’s knowledge is inspiring and they’ve made sure every course is really fun to complete. I have just completed my Level 3 PT qualification (and first aid at work qualification) with Pegasus Training, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Sean & Lewis are both extremely professional, extremely knowledgeable and always on hand to help in any way.I completed my Level 2 Gym Instructing certificate with another training provider (before being made aware of Pegasus) and the difference in quality is like night and day - I am so glad I switched to complete my training with Pegasus!I studied a blended version of the course and was really impressed with the resources available to me and the strong communication link that Pegasus established from day one.If you are considering studying towards your Personal Training qualification - this is the training provider you want to complete it with!
